When I read reviews that said there was graphic violence, I shook my head. WHAAA? Then I read a review that explained what that other reviewer was talking about.Folks, the fact is there IS police brutality. Period. To me, that wasn't graphic violence, that was a fact of life. That's exactly why it didn't hit me until I read another reviewer's pointing out of what had happened as graphic violence. For those of you who don't know about REAL life, don't read books like this. Actually, the violence complained about was not gratuitous, it was a necessary part of the story line. Get a grip!
Anyway, this story held me mesmerized until the end. I had a thought about the ending, but wasn't sure, and BAM, out of the blue the entire story made sense. Completely a different plot than what I normally read, and refreshing at that. I don't want to give away any of the plot, etc., except to say to others: if you can't stomach real life, go read Pollyanna (which is a dear favorite of mine, LOL). Yes, indeed, a terrific read.
I loved it, and can't wait to see Mr. Bigato's future works. I'm firmly a fan.

I was somewhat confused at the beginning but it wasn't long before the mystery really grabbed me. If you like a good mystery, you too will love this book. I've never encountered a story like this in all of my reading years. I love good and Happy endings and this story didn't fail me.
It was a.good.book, hard to put down the ending was great. I would highly recommend reading this story , very fast read
Over Her Dead Body was a for great read. The story kept my interest due to the ever changing story line, but never confusing or losing the plot. It was a hard book to put down. I hope to find more great books by Mr. bigato. I appreciate your talent and skill you put into this book. You gave hours of page turning excitement and intrigue for my enjoyment. Thank you.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was written well and kept me interested till the end. Good thriller with suspense
Before I get into why I needed more, let me say this book kept my attention. There were places that were intense, and the storyline was different in a good way. However, this story was not off the charts when it should have been. The author used passive voice in writing this story. That left scenes, like when twin sisters were kidnapped and their getaway or Michael's torture or hiding out in the river emotionless. Then the writer tried to introduce Sherlock Holmes style deduction at the end that did not fit into the story. If you can get past the wordiness then by all means get this book.
What an outstanding book. I never read anything like it. I was so into this book I couldn't put it down. The more I read the more it had some outstanding twists that kept me up wanting more. I was so into this book that every couple of chapters there were so many things happening. I didn't think I could keep up with the mysteries behind the chapters, I would have to take a break and take a breath to get to where I thought it couldn't get anymore twists and guess what there were more. Wow what a book. This is the second book out of many books is my 2cd favorite. I really had enjoyed this book. You will not be disappointed.
I do have to agree with some of the negative reviews in so far as Mr Bigato not knowing enough about police procedure to make some parts of the plot convincing; however, that's the only negative aspect I can find. A little polishing with some effort in proofreading and correcting some grammar is also called for, but unlike in books by other independent authors, I was not distracted from the plot by the mistakes. I found the plot to be interesting and unique and the main characters to be very "real". I had a feeling about where the story was headed yet was still surprised by the ending as should be the goal for writers of crime novels. Overall, "Over Her Dead Body" should be viewed as a success for a first novel by a new author. - Sheila Rae Myers, Author
